We are delighted to announce that X7 has partnered with SureFire, a specialist peripheral brand owned by Verbatim Europe (Verbatim GmbH). As a result, SureFire will act as the headline sponsor for the upcoming X7 bootcamp in London, where we plan on bringing all of the players and staff together (whilst adhering to the latest COVID guidelines) in early January 2022.
In collaboration with the University of Roehampton, the bootcamp will enable us to produce lots of behind-the-scenes content, host interviews with special guests (to be announced in due course), and finally a chance for some members of the organisation to meet each other in-person for the first time.
SureFire will be providing the team with headsets, mice, keyboards, and surfaces to use, and will also have a physical presence during our special event, towards the end of the bootcamp, where they will be showcasing their products and hosting giveaways with attendees.
This event will include a meet-and-greet with our players, and a series of in-game tournaments between the X7 team and members of the public. We were presented with a number of great options on where to host the bootcamp, but thought, because we're a British organisation, having it on home ground made the most sense.
Further details for this event day will be released in the New Year.
